Thousands of tons of solid timber from construction and demolition projects, and in the form of discarded furniture are either burnt or sent to landfill each year. Industrial waste of this kind can provide an inexpensive source of material for building long lasting objects with a reduced carbon footprint. The projects shown on this page use timber salvaged from skips, bonfires stacks, house demolition and as unwanted furniture parts left out for council collection.
