The Zzzzap Light was designed in response to the brief “Floor, Ceiling, Wall” set by the design collective Glass Box, of which Ian Lambert was a founding member. The light recoils back into the wall, ceiling or floor at the sound of a clap, or voice command. They were shown at London Design Week 2006, in Designers Block at the Nicholls & Clark Building.
